Biso-Fer® is a pediatric iron supplement formulated with Ferrous Bisglycinate Chelate, a superior, well-tolerated, and highly bioavailable source of iron.
It is specially designed to prevent and treat iron deficiency anemia in infants and children while minimizing common gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea, abdominal cramps, or constipation.
Thanks to its amino acid chelation technology, Biso-Fer® follows the body’s natural absorption pathways, ensuring gentle gastric tolerance, excellent palatability, and high compliance even in sensitive pediatric patients.

Mechanism of Action

Ferrous Bisglycinate is a stable chelated complex of iron and glycine that is absorbed through peptide transporters in the small intestine rather than the conventional iron transport route.
This mechanism:

• Prevents iron oxidation and protects the intestinal mucosa.

• Enhances absorption efficiency even in the presence of dietary inhibitors.

Dosage and Administration

(0.5 mL ≈ 8 drops | 1 mL ≈ 17 drops)

Elemental Iron Equivalence:

• 2 mL = 10 mg elemental iron

• 1 mL = 5 mg elemental iron

• 1 drop (≈0.06 mL) = 0.3 mg elemental iron
