Glicoper D Capsules

Ingredients (per one capsule):

  • – White mulberry (Morus alba L.) leaves standardized d.e. 250 mg

Properties

  • – Reduces post-prandial glycemic response and glycemic index of carbohydrate-rich foods.
  • – Inhibits α-glucosidase enzymes, slowing carbohydrate breakdown into glucose.
  • – Decreases post-meal glucose and insulin peaks (≈40% reduction demonstrated in clinical trials).
  • – Improves endothelial function and reduces oxidative stress related to glycemic fluctuations.
  • – Supports weight management by promoting satiety and reducing appetite.
  • – Maintains ketosis during ketogenic diets by minimizing carbohydrate absorption.
  • – Prebiotic activity: undigested carbohydrates promote beneficial gut flora and short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) production (acetate, propionate, butyrate).

5- Weight management and metabolic support – due to its satiety and insulin-sensitizing effects.

6- as adjuvant in the management of  Dumping Syndrome, especially the late hypoglycemic type, by slowing carbohydrate absorption and stabilizing postprandial glucose peaks.
